The Flow Method™ – Frequently Asked Questions

About The Flow Method™

What is The Flow Method™?

The Flow Method™ is a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program designed to provide a strong foundation in the Pilates method while honoring the legacy and principles established by Joseph Pilates. Our curriculum emphasizes quality education, critical thinking, anatomy, movement science, and practical teaching skills to prepare confident, knowledgeable, and highly skilled Pilates instructors.

Is The Flow Method™ recognized?

Yes. The Flow Method™ was designed to meet the educational standards required for eligibility to sit for the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) examination through the Nationally Certified Pilates Certification Program (NPCP), provided all program requirements are successfully completed.

Who teaches The Flow Method™?

Our faculty is led by Adriana Vincenti, a highly experienced third-generation Pilates teacher whose passion, precision, and extensive knowledge provide students with an exceptional educational experience.

Where are classes held?

All in-person training takes place at Flow Movement Studio in Dorado, Puerto Rico, a fully equipped boutique Pilates studio designed specifically for high-quality Pilates teacher education.

Admissions

Do I need previous Pilates experience?

Yes. Students should have completed approximately 20 Pilates classes before beginning teacher training. These classes may be taken at any reputable Pilates studio.

Do I need to complete Pilates History first?

Yes. Pilates History is the prerequisite for all certification programs unless you have already completed an equivalent Mat Pilates teacher training. Previous certifications may be reviewed for eligibility.

Can I take the Reformer course without completing Mat?

No.

We strongly believe that every Pilates teacher should first develop a solid foundation in the Mat work before progressing to equipment training.

Are the courses taught in English or Spanish?

Classes are taught in Spanish.

The training manuals are written in English because much of the original Pilates literature and professional terminology is in English. Each exercise is accompanied by photographs and illustrations, making the material easier to understand.

I’m not fluent in English. Can I still take The Flow Method™?

Absolutely.

Many of our students successfully complete The Flow Method™ even if English is not their first language. Since lectures are taught in Spanish and the manuals include extensive visual support, students are able to follow along comfortably.

Tuition & Policies

Can I pay in installments?

No.

Full payment is required before the start of the course to secure your enrollment.

How do I reserve my spot?

Enrollment is confirmed only after the registration process has been completed and full payment has been received.

Because class sizes are intentionally kept small to provide individualized instruction, spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I transfer my registration to another course or another person?

No.

Course registrations are non-transferable and cannot be transferred to another individual or to a future course.

  • Cancellations made fewer than 30 days before the course begins, or after the course has started, are not eligible for a refund.
  • Special circumstances, such as a documented illness or the death of an immediate family member, may be considered on a case-by-case basis when appropriate documentation is provided.
